About Mary Tibbatts
I am originally from Paramus, New Jersey and lived there until I married my husband Bill 30 years ago. We then moved to Houston, Texas, back to New Jersey, back to Houston, back to New Jersey to Orange County, New York for 14 years and ultimately to Fredericksburg, VA where we have been since 1998. (And we're not military) Whew! We moved 9 times in 7 years so I totally understand the work, stress and excitment involved in moving. Bill and I have three children, Monica 24, Ryan 20 and Eric 17, and a golden retreiver named Riley.
I began my real estate career in Orange County, New York in 1995 until just prior to moving to Virginia in 1998. I have been involved in the industry for almost 30 years and in 2003 decided to get back to what I loved most and was licensed in VA in 2004.
My Client-First Philosophy
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work. I pride myself on the service I provide to my clients, regardless of whether this is their first move or they have moved many times before. Every client of mine is serviced with dedication, integrity and honesty.
That said, in my experience as a Fredericksburg real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. When you choose to work with me you will find that I will be with you all the way to settlement and beyond. I believe that when my clients decide to work with me that I should be there for them. Therefore, if you are looking for the type of agent that lists your home and you never hear from them again, you may not want to work with me, as that will not happen. I am in contact with my clients as often as they feel necessary based each clients needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
